Thomas Obermeier
Vice President
Thomas Obermeier is a Vice President at BCP. He is involved in multiple areas of the firm’s investment activities.
Prior to joining BCP, Thomas served as a Vice President at GDEV Management, a sustainable infrastructure private equity fund in New York, where he was involved in all aspects of the investment process, including evaluation of new investment opportunities, deal structuring and investment exits, ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio companies, and investor relations. Prior to joining GDEV, Thomas helped establish Octopus Energy’s U.S. investment team and the acquisition of its initial portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. Thomas previously was a Senior Associate with EY’s Power & Utilities M&A advisory group.
Thomas received his B.B.A. from William & Mary and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
